The National Showcaves Centre for Wales
Travel in one of our all-weather observation coaches behind a vintage steam locomotive through beautiful scenery into the Brecon Beacons National Park along the full length of the Taf Fechan Reservoir to Dol-y-Gaer on one of the most popular railways in Wales.
Carreg Cennen sits remote and high on top of a huge limestone crag rising up out of the Brecon Beacons in Carmarthenshire. A spectacular sight at sunset with the River Cennen running 100 metres below and into the distance, and though the climb to this historic castle is steep the views from the top are magnificent.
The Society has come a long way since those early days and the Royal Welsh Show has become an important event in the Welsh calendar attracting some 230,000 people over the course of the four days and is supported by approximately 15,000 staunch members.
Wildlife and Conservation
The Wye & Usk Foundation is a charity concerned with restoring the habitat, water quality and fisheries of the rivers Wye and Usk.
Hawksdrift is dedicated to the promotion of falconry as a traditional country sport and to the conservation, protection and rehabilitation of wild birds of prey.
The Gigrin is a family run upland sheep farm of approximately 200 acres. Gigrin became the Official Red Kite Feeding Station in the winter 1992/93 following a request from the RSPB .
